Every Northern Hemisphere summer, it seems, e-book sales slump. I blame the ozone layer. In my youth in New Zealand, we didn’t have e-books, but we did have a much more robust ozone layer, enabling me to spend long, lazy days lying in the sun and reading. These days, such behaviour is literally life-threatening.
Ah, the good old days…
Dark Continents Publishing is bringing you the best of both times with an Amazon-exclusive e-book sale. Twenty-six titles, discounted to 99 cents, which is about the price you’d pay for a paperback in the early 1970’s, only magically delivered through the ether to your electronic device. (Sorry – they can’t do much about the ozone layer).
And here are the titles on offer – a veritable smorgasbord of dark speculative fiction. The sale runs until the end of July.
