The anthology is due for release at the end of April 2011, which, coincidentally, is when I will be GOING TO TEXAS!!!

My previous post dwelt on the financial difficulties of attending an overseas convention.  I won’t go into details on how we overcame that obstacle.  Let’s just say it involves a credit card and a lot of finger-crossing.

It will be a trip of firsts for me – my first journey to the Northern Hemisphere, first Horror Convention, and first time meeting my fellow Dark Continents members in person.  I might even get to meet some of the US editors I have worked with over the years.  Joe Hill, son of Stephen King, is attending, so there’ll be opportunities to brush against greatness.

One of my SuperNOVA friends said that 2010 was Her Year.  Looks like 2011 is going to be mine.

    Good for you Tracie – who would have thought as you perched yourself in that tree on the side of the Mountain in Rotorua writing poems and dreaming of being an author that it would actually eventuate. Perhaps I need to go and climb in to that tree for a little while!! Good on you
